Problem

Solution
- Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFB): Vflow’s VRFBs have longer lifespans and lower fire risks compared to lithium-ion, making them ideal for utility-scale and off-grid renewable systems.
- Efficiency and cost savings: The VRFBs offer 10% higher round-trip efficiency (80%), resulting in a 12.5% lower levelised cost of storage.
- Heat resistance: The batteries operate at 10-15°C higher temperatures (55°C), thanks to unique patents in cell stack design, chemical additives, PCS, BMS designs, and hydraulic shunt design.
