Existing battery technologies have low lifetimes, toxic, are expensive and slow to charge. Involt brings a new approach to electricity storage by using safe supercapacitors with 200x longer lifetimes and 100x faster charging speeds, with the aim of making traditionally large supercapacitors smaller over time to progressively replace batteries by application.
